"If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink." (John 7:37)
Now a days it's a negative when someone is "thirsty". Being thirsty is like a new term that people use which can be defined as a term that means a person is desperate or really wanting someone or something. When a person is thirsty it is literally like the verb thirsty. That person is desperate for something to drink. But I say to you today that it is okay to be thirsty for God's love. I will not deny the fact that I am thirsty for God's love and don't mind talking about Him and sharing His love each and every second. He says in John 7:37 that it is okay to go to Him if you are thirsty! This is amazing because these lines can relate to today's society. Take your thirstiness to God! I'm not trying to be funny at all lol. I'm just speaking the truth! If you're thirsty like me, take your thirsty self to God. I'm thirsty as I don't know what for Him! Ayeeee lol But the Lord said to Samuel, "Do not look at his appearance or at his physical stature, because I have refused him. For the Lord does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart."
It's not about how or what you look like.. In the Lords eyes, it's all about what you do on this Earth and what kind of difference do you make. He looks at the good deeds you have done and focuses on how good of a heart you have. Having a good heart not only goes a long way for God. He has blessed me in so many ways just because of what I have been doing for this Messages From Beezy movement. All the glory goes to Him for it all! I enjoy what I am doing but it's only because God has blessed me to have such a big heart. I am a blessed individual and I enjoy inspiring and helping others in any way that I can. Make an effort of showing God how big of a heart you have and show him that you love Him. Do not let your adornment be merely outward—arranging the hair, wearing gold, or putting on fine apparel— rather let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God. (I Peter 3:3, 4 NKJV)
In these lines, the text explains to us that no matter what we look like we still have to go to Him. He explains to us that even the people that are dressed up lookin' swagged out and A1 they can love The Lord and talk about how good he is as well! It doesn't take a whole remake of your life to become closer to God. You just gotta be willing to go to Him. And who is he who will harm you if you become followers of what is good? But even if you should suffer for righteousness’ sake, you are blessed. “And do not be afraid of their threats, nor be troubled.” But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear; (I Peter 3:13-15 NKJV)
If you have The Lord in your life and do what he says you have nothing to worry about or hang your head... People will judge you no matter what you do so why not give him thanks and be proud that you are a Christian. If people will judge you and make fun of you for worshiping and loving The Lord then let them make fun of you because they are not there for you. Don't let the devil control your life "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." (Hebrews 11:1 NKJV)
Without a doubt, having faith is the key to success. Whatever your desires are, if you just have faith in God that He will be with you and work it out, there's not a doubt in my mind that he will bless you and give you what you need. There has been many times that a situation looked impossible and unbearable but I kept faith in God and he worked everything out. One situation that happened today was Vernon Davis and I were traveling from Fayetteville, Arkansas to Little Rock, Arkansas for the big Razorback game this weekend and a car was facing horizontal on the interstate and was stopped. Cars were beginning to pile up and the situation could've been very very bad because of how fast the cars were traveling and how fast the cars needed to stop. While I turned the music down and began to slightly go into shock, I was reminded by God that He is in control and I had faith that He would work out...and He did. No one was hurt and the lady was able to turn her car around on the interstate with out any casualties. So whatever you are going through have faith in God and pray that he will turn things around and work it out. He is a great God!!! But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’ ” (Matthew 4:4 NKJV)
In life we have so much on our backs that we really can't do it on our own. We have to realize that God puts this weight on us because we are like servants for him. We're here to worker and glorify him!! So take that weight off and hand it over to God! Let Him handle the weight and go to him about your problems. We have a God that listens and will fufill your needs if you just go to Him. That's the great thing about it! We can't live without God so Him! "Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect" Romans 12:2.
We can't live a life based on other people and what others think of us. In today's world, often times we look at the bad in someone or assume the worst in a situation. When we lose things like a car from a wreck or even a person in our life, how about we thank God for giving us a car or placing that special individual in our lives that passed away in our life. My meditation professor once said, "If we transform our way of perceiving things, we can transform the quality of our lives." We must transform the negative aspects that we think about each other, into positives that will brighten someone's day. Simple gestures like these or even speaking to others can truly benefit everyone. Why live and think negatively when you can live and think positively? When you aspire (set as a goal) to change, our minds feel a sense of direction but it is our job to pray and have faith in God so He can find a way to put that into action. To say I am perfect would be a complete lie. To say I have achieved everything and have reached every goal that I have ever pursued would not be true. To say I have made it through everything without even thinking about giving up would be false. But if you asked me if I was trying to be perfect and tried to be the best guy that I could would sum me up the best. "Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me" Philippians 3:12. Just like any other nineteen year old, I have flaws as well but God created us all different and we are perfect to him. I may not look like Drake or play ball like LeBron but I do have God and I owe everything to him. He wakes me up and carries me through each day. The goal isn't to do everything perfect but the goal is to act as Christ-like as you can towards other people. That's God's vision of being perfect. So let's all be try and be perfect and serve the man upstairs.
When your world feels dark, you feel like you should find the light. When you find the light at the end of dark tunnel, you get a sense that you have found victory. When you find victory thats when you know that God is real. Let God be the light during your dark times. You see... I am still sore, mentally hurt and confused about somethings right now. The confusion comes from a little wreck but i know God is with me bc he's shining his light. Look closely in the pic.. hahaha yup! there it is! God's light. I'm glad that God shines his light all the time and provides that helping hand that I need in my life. I thank God for just letting me have another day. As long as I keep breathing I'm gonna keep believing. "All things are possible if you believe" Mark 9:23 HAPPY LABOR DAY! We are not perfect but as Christians, the Lord will wash and forgive our sins because he loves us that much. He also knows that if we continue to do great things and do good deeds for others, he will always be there for us. Our lives are already pre-determined by God, we have to make the best choices and serve him and pick up the little signs along the way that he shows us. When we pick up those signs along the way, it will lead us to our future."If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." 1 John 1:9. He washed away our sins just for us, it is our job to be servants and work for him. That's what he wants us to do. Have a great day and remember that we are employed by God.
