37 Jesus replied, “‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 A second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ Matthew 22:37-39 NLT Tweet me your thoughts about the #VOTD... @MSGSFromBZ Please Read! ** It would be a big help to me and my team if you could just take the time to "rate" the app on the App Store! Have a great day! 1 "Now after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, wise men from the East came to Jerusalem, 2 saying, "Where is He who has been born King of the Jews? For we have seen His star in the East and have come to worship Him." Matthew 2:1-2 I thought these verses were so significant because it was so powerful to me. The reason why these two verses were so significant to me is because the people that were talking about Jesus saw potential in Him BEFORE He was even King of the Jews. The people said they have seen His star in the East and have come to worship Him. Let me remind you that Jesus was JUST born and is still a baby during the first chapter of Matthew. "Even though he was young, the people around Him knew what He was, and who who He was, before He even BECAME what He was!!! I'm telling you today, if you don't have friends that see potential in you before you become it, then you need to find a different set of friends. You can become whatever you put your mind to. Don't let anyone tell you that you can't be great.
