4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving; go into his courts with praise. Give thanks to him and praise his name. 5 For the Lord is good, His unfailing love continues forever, and his faithfulness continues to each generation. Psalms 100:4-5 NLT Please Read! The Movement My name is Michael Hairston and I am from Fayetteville, AR. Ever since I graduated from Episcopal Collegiate School in Little Rock, I had the nickname Beezy.. I even had my own saying.. "It ain't easy bein' Mike Beezy" lol. I haven't been the perfect individual, but I have obtained a lot of knowledge and wisdom since those days. God has put me through many obstacles that veered me to the right path. On July 26th 2013, I told my brother Vern that I felt like I could inspire others through my messages. He said, "I know you can do it." I created a movement to hopefully inspire other people my age that, "All things are possible, if you believe." Mark 9:23. Like I said.. I never was perfect. I wasn't a straight A student. I wasnt a National recruit.. I was just a student that loved to ball. In High School, I used basketball as a gateway. I use to look forward to playing ball and enjoying something without worrying about getting criticized. I felt like I wasn't good enough at a lot of things but as I got older my faith started to become stronger and stronger and I believed in one simple verse... Mark 9:23. It's true.. I promise. I'm not trying to show how perfect I am, or how great things are cuz that's not it at all. I'm just a student at the University of Arkansas. I use to dream about going to this school, and now I'm here. God always finds a way when you put your trust in Him. I've carried this verse with me for the last 10 years. The reason why I am selling wristbands is to fund this Movement. Keeping up with this isn't the easiest thing. I am self funded and the money I make goes right back towards the innovations of the Movement. God has blessed me to be in the position that I am in and it's nothing but Him working through me. ** It would be a big help to me and my team if you could just take the time to "rate" the app on the App Store, Follow the Instagram and Twitter Pages (@MSGSFromBZ) for inspirational stories and become motivated. 1. Why do they waste their time with futile plans? 2 The kings of the earth prepare for battle; the rulers plot together against the LORD and against his anointed one. 3 Let us break their chains," they cry, "and free ourselves from slavery to God." 4But the one who rules in heaven laughs. The Lord scoffs at them. 5 Then in anger he rebukes them, terrifying them with his fierce fury. 6 For the Lord declares, "I have placed my chosen king on the throne in Jerusalem, on my holy mountain." 7 The king proclaims the LORD's decree: The LORD said to me, 'You are my son. Today I have become your Father. 8 Only ask, and I will give you the nations as your inheritance, the whole earth as your possession. 9 You will break them with an iron rod and smash them like clay pots." 10 Now then, you kings, act wisely! Be warned, you rulers of the earth! 11 Serve the LORD with reverent fear, and rejoice with tumbling. 12 Submit to God's royal son, or he will become angry, and you will be destroyed in the midst of all your activities for his anger flares up in an instant. But what joy for all who take refuge in him! A psalm of David, regarding the time David fled from his son Absalom. To the Chief Musician. On a stringed instrument. A Psalm of David 2 From the end of the earth I will cry to You, When my heart is overwhelmed; Lead me to the rock that is higher than I. Psalms 61:2 In many of our lives, we experience great turmoil. We all go through it. Turmoil can be defined as being in a state of great disturbance, confusion, or uncertainty (Google Definitions). When we experience turmoil, we usually feel overwhelmed and don't know what to do. Have you ever noticed, anytime you take a Standardized Test, the teacher USUALLY knows all the answers and also knows what is on the test. When we experience unbearable tasks, think of these as Tests that God puts us through. He is testing on whether or not we will give up or continue to fight on. When we don't know something on the test, it's always good to raise your hand so that you can get help on the test! God is our teacher in life. How can you pass a test if you don't get help from the teacher? We have to be discipline enough to stay cool even though the situation may not be going our way. We have to pay attention to what our teacher tells us so that we will be able to pass our tests in life! If you don't listen, you can't pass! Just remember that we serve an amazing God! He doesn't make mistakes.. So whatever you are going through, think positive! Why TRY to be in control, when you can let GOD be in control!! Don't let the situation take control of you, you have to control the situation by letting God take over!! Good luck and Be Blessed during y'alls tests!! :)
"I said to myself, "I will watch what I do and not sin in what I say. I will hold my tongue when the ungodly are around me." But as I stood there in silence - not even speaking of good things - the turmoil within me grew worse. The more I thought about it, the hotter I got, igniting a fire of words: "Lord, remind me how brief my time on earth will be. Remind me that my days are numbered - how fleeting my life is. You have made my life no longer than the width of my hand. My entire lifetime is just a moment to you; at best, each of us is but a breath." Psalms 39:1-5 David is by far one of my favorite character's in the bible. I love these verses in Psalms because it pinpoints the greatness of our God. As David prayed to God, he was struggling because of all the ungodly talk around him. It bothered David, but God reminded David that his lifetime on Earth is only a moment to God. God's plans are so much more greater than our own!! If He says that our days are numbered and we all shall pass one day, why not make a positive change and make a difference? Why not live a happy and cheerful life instead of a sad one! A lot of people ask why me, why do I always smile and laugh so much lol. It's simple... I feel so blessed that I have no reason to feel down. I have a God that loves me when no one else does. I have a God that protects me, when no one else can.
