God doesn't expect us to be perfect. He doesn't expect us to do everything right. What he does expect us to do is shine love on his people and others on this earth. Showing gratitude and love is something that God loves seeing. He explains to us that we have to open the eyes of people who may not have that strong enough faith and lead them to the light of God. If we can show enough love to one another and come together through love, each and everyday would be even better! I want people to wake up and stay positive like I do!! God is too good to hang your head about little things that happen in your life. Show love to one another. America has low-key turned us into a nation that doesn't want us to show love to one another because of all the negative stories that have in the media today. I'm telling you today.. Love others the same amount as much as God loves you. Telling people to "Have a great day" or just speaking can turn a person's day around. "As a commandment I give to you, to love one another as I have loved you" John 13:34 KJV 

"And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."
John 8:32

Whatever you're intentions are on anything, the truth will always come out. If you work hard at practice and show the coaches that you are busting your butt, the truth of your hard work will come out. If you spent countless number of hours in Club Mullin's (Mullin's Library on the University of Arkansas campus) and you haven't been getting the grade you want, the truth of your hard work in preparing for the tests will come out. If you wonder why me? Why do I always go through rough times or October wasn't your month, the truth about your faith will come out. We have to keep our head up but our faith even higher. The truth will always come out no matter what you are doing. Always tell the truth because it's better stay true then to not be true at all. Keep fighting and not giving up on your dreams or goals. Just because you don't make the basketball team or might be hurt physically or mentally, you can't let that stop you from being great. There are moves that need to be made and it's your choice whether or not you will make them despite your difficulties. Don't ever let someone tell you that you can't be great, because we are all walking testimonies. Keep fighting and keep believing. I love you guys. Have a great day

In many of our lives, we experience great turmoil. We all go through it. Turmoil can be defined as being in a state of great disturbance, confusion, or uncertainty (Google Definitions). When we experience turmoil, we usually feel overwhelmed and don't know what to do. Have you ever noticed, anytime you take a Standardized Test, the teacher USUALLY knows all the answers and also knows what is on the test. When we experience unbearable tasks, think of these as Tests that God puts us through. He is testing on whether or not we will give up or continue to fight on. When we don't know something on the test, it's always good to raise your hand so that you can get help on the test! God is our teacher in life. How can you pass a test if you don't get help from the teacher? We have to be discipline enough to stay cool even though the situation may not be going our way. We have to pay attention to what our teacher tells us so that we will be able to pass our tests in life! If you don't listen, you can't pass! Just remember that we serve an amazing God! He doesn't make mistakes.. So whatever you are going through, think positive! Why TRY to be in control, when you can let GOD be in control!! Don't let the situation take control of you, you have to control the situation by letting God take over!! Good luck and Be Blessed during y'alls tests!! :)

David is by far one of my favorite character's in the bible. I love these verses in Psalms because it pinpoints the greatness of our God. As David prayed to God, he was struggling because of all the ungodly talk around him. It bothered David, but God reminded David that his lifetime on Earth is only a moment to God. God's plans are so much more greater than our own!! If He says that our days are numbered and we all shall pass one day, why not make a positive change and make a difference? Why not live a happy and cheerful life instead of a sad one! A lot of people ask why me, why do I always smile and laugh so much lol. It's simple... I feel so blessed that I have no reason to feel down. I have a God that loves me when no one else does. I have a God that protects me, when no one else can.

We serve a powerful and righteous God. When I talk to people about Jesus Christ and the Bible, most of the time I ask them what's stopping them from coming closer to the Lord? There simple answer is, "Well when I read I don't quite understand what I am reading." Honestly when I hear those words it brings joy to my heart. It brings joy to my heart because I am reminded that God works through ALL OF US! He has placed people in our lives called, disciples. A disciple can be defined as someone who accepts and helps to spread the teachings of a higher order. haha! That just gives me chills because that's what I am doing. I love just reading the bible and breaking down the Lord's words. By no means to I tend to be a pastor but I do enjoy reading and inspiring others through the word of God. Through this verse, we learn that we learn of who our "own" are. "Our Own" can be defined as Christians. In John 10:14, no matter what we are going through and despite the people around us, God always will lead us towards the people of "our own" which are other Christ believers. We are all walking testimonies but it takes time to invest in that time of sharing our own stories. I stand to you today saying, God IS REAL! I am a firm believer and I love Him. I am just a young college student that is trying to make a difference. It's not about fame, popularity, making money or anything because if it was I would be pushing for everyone to buy a band.. I Just enjoy making people smile and be happy because we have such an amazing God and I want people to realize that,  whatever you are going through can change. If God was able to mold me into the man I am today, He can work and build mighty things in you as well. I'm not blessed, We ALL ARE!

This verse was so powerful to me because it's so inspirational! I read this twice and it gave me chills. The reason why it gave me chills because it is so true... Our only hope is in Jesus Christ. God was able to create the heavens and the earth with mountains and valleys... He can do exceedingly and abundantly! There's no reason to ever feel sad, mad, embarassed or upset.. Because God does EVERYTHING for a reason. The reason why I stay positive 24/7 is because I know that everything will be alright because God is in control. If God is in control, what do we fear? What do I have to worry about? What's going to stop us from being successful? God is the one who we should put our faith and hope in because he is amazing. I love him and I don't know what I would do without my God!

It's almost that time.. Y'all might not know what time it is, but I do... It's friday night and it's time for some High School Football! I like to call it Collegiate Ball since I went to Episcopal Collegiate School haha. Even though this is the verse of the day on my bible app, I still wanted to use this verse for today's message! Read that verse once more and just think about it.. God works through each and every one of us. He is always in us. The question is, will you find the power and will that God placed inside of all us, to want to succeed? If you want it bad enough, you will do whatever it takes to do something no matter what it takes. He not only stored power and will into our bodies but he also granted us the power of helping others and supporting the weak. This has a powerful connotation! The reason this verse has a powerful connotation is because it shows that Jesus was strong enough to hold our selves up and as well as others! We have to be there for our friends, our teammates and the ones that lift us up and not tear us down. I promise you!! Playing on a team full of brothers is a whole lot more fun than playing with a team full of just players. I use to call every one of my teammates brothers because they were family. Without family, how can you pick yourself up when you're down? You need family. I made a family at Episcopal Collegiate! So out there today be there for your brother and remember that it's better to have a team full of brothers than a team full of teammates. It's important to be there for your brothers because no one is perfect. We all make mistakes, but it's the one that reaches out that hand and says, "it's okay, we got it next time" that truly makes a difference. I'd rather be successful with all my homies than just me! Honestly, reading this verse made me just stop and think... It made me stop and think about my current life. I am just a young, 19 year old student that is out here trying to do his best at everything and support the ones around me. I don't have everything I want, but I have everything I need. Those things consist of having an Almighty God, two beautiful parents and a loving family, friends that are just life family and love me for me, the support of families that do not even know me, I feel loved and it's all because of God. I don't want any glory because it's not about me... It's about him. Like I tell my boy, Jarrion Lawson, I'm just a student at the University of Arkansas. I can't be anybody else but me, and you can't be anyone but you. Be the best that you can be and overcome the ones that doubted you. Let them know what's up! God will protect what is his. Face your battles with your head held high because we have a God that will be there for eternity. I love my God and I'm not ashamed. God is truly my Rescue! He is my Rescue! The one that is always there when I need him. I get so happy just thinking about him now! Thank you Lord for all of the people around me! You have amazing people! :)

This is scripture is titled, A Prayer of Moses the man of God. He prays to God saying, "before there were even mountains present, God created the earth and the world, Even from everlasting to everlasting, You are God." I thought that this was such a powerful scripture!! You know why? Because BEFORE He even created the mountains, He created the Earth! If God was able to create all of these beautiful and extravagant things in life for his people, what do you think He will do for you in your life? God has done nothing but blessed me in my life! The day that I realized God was for me was the day that everything turned around! I was scared to open up about Jesus Christ, and ever since I opened up about it, his blessings have came no where but left and right. I thank God for everything that He has provided me! I thank God for just being God! Amen! Thank the Lord maneee!

This verse instantly became one of favorite verses! You know why? Because it just sort of hit me.. It hit me because I realize how real it was. If someone doesn't listen to them when you are trying to do right they are just asking for trouble! I will always be there for the ones that have and will be there for me! Not because I am nice but because I was raised by two beautiful parents that help me be the man I am today and I thank the man upstairs! I thank Him each and everyday for my beautiful parents that have blessed me so much in life! They go out of their way for me each and every second and I cant thank God for any better parents. That's how I know there's a God because of the goodness he shares on his people! I feel like doing good things and showing God's beautiful works within us! That's why I don't mind showing people's highlight tape's or putting a pic of people's bands... Because God has created so many beautiful people and we deserve to all come together. I love my God!
