Genesis 1:29

In this verse, God explains that as he created the waters and the earth, he also created mankind. He didn't just create man but He also created everything mankind would need. He exclaims, Look! I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth. I thought this was significant because in the text, it shows that God has provided everything that we need in our lives. He makes it known to us that we do not need anyone but Him. Half the battle is won when you realize that we can't live without God. We can't do anything without help from The Lord. One simple verse that I memorized and it always reminds me that I can't do it on my own is Psalm 121:2 which reads, "My help comes from The Lord, the maker of Heaven and earth." The day that you realize you can't do it on your own, is the day that you win half the battle. When you win half the battle, it's easy from there. Call on The Lord and ask for his help. When you ask for His help, He will declare it done as long as you have faith in Him and call on His name.
