Sharpening The Friend(s) Around Us...

The verse that I read today is so powerful once you understand it! Proverbs 27: 17 reads, "As iron sharpens iron, So a man sharpens his countenance of his friend" Proverbs 27:17. The reason why this verse is so significant because it explains how us "men" and wo"men" are responsible of accounting for our friend(s) when they are wrong. Like sharpening a knife, we have to spend time and fix the dullness that is inhabited in the knife. It takes a knife sharpener to sharpen and make it new again. Y'all know what happens when a knife is sharp again, it is a very powerful mechanism that can kill and destroy anything! God explains this in Proverbs 27:17! He is explaining that if we account and keep our friend(s) in line and stay focused on taking care of business and continue to praise The Lord, we are literally like knives. We can use the knowledge that we learn, the physical strength that we develop and have a mighty God that is on our side! There's nothing we CAN'T do if we are sharpened like knives! So today make an effort of taking care of your business and sharpen and develop the friend(s) around you so that not only it will please God but will make us into better individual's. Remember, "All things are possible, if you believe." Mark 9:23
