![]() The Arkansas Razorback's (19-7, 8-5 Conf) basketball team is on-a-roll winning on the road and it definitely has not went unnoticed. Not only are they turning heads throughout the state, they are also turning the heads of the NCAA. With a HUGE road win against #21 South Carolina (20-6, 10-3 Conf) last night 83-76. I had the opportunity of interviewing Mr. SEC Preseason Player of the Year, Moses Kingsley for his insight from the South Carolina and how he stays motivated on and off the court. Moses told me, “I grew up in a very religious family and everyday I wear a wristband that says, All things are possible, if you believe - Mark 9:23. After I was given the band it has really meant a lot to me. I believe that anything is possible. Anything that you do everyday, whether it is easy or hard, if you believe it can happen, it can happen." I asked Moses if Coach Mike Anderson’s Beezy Band ever helped him during games since he can’t wear his and Moses told me, "Even though I can’t wear my band in the game, I always wear mine before and after games and practices. I am always reminded by it whether I have it on or not and it keeps me going. Seeing it on my wrist helps me play harder on the court and inspires my teammates that no matter what we go through all things are possible." Moses played a total of 29 minutes, 5-9 FG, 6-7 at the free throw line, 7 rebounds, 4 blocks and finished with 16 points against #21 South Carolina. The Razorbacks move on to play Ole Miss (16-10, 7-6 Conf) on Saturday, February 18 at 5:00 PM CT on the SECNetwork. |
