Once again, the Razorback Track Team wins another SEC title! I know a handful of these athletes and I know fo a fact that they deserve all of the accolades and honors they receive. It isn't easy competing against six, seven or eight people at once, but when you achieve victory, there is nothing like it! I had the chance to interview Jarrion Lawson, Long Jump & 4x4 Relay, and also Omar Mcleod, 60m hurdler!



Jarrion Lawson is a really close friend of mine and he's more like a brother than a friend. I asked him, "Why are you so motivated to do good? Why do you always want to do your best?"

JLAW said, "Because I was raised to know that everything God creates is a success. So therefore I know I was born a success and not a failure. Success gives a feeling of completeness, and happiness. I don't think I focus on being successful. I just give my best and the outcome is successful."



Me and Omar are close friends as well. This man has been a good friend and I appreciate everything he has done.

I asked Omar, "What motivates you to do well? As you run, what motivates you to give it all you have to come out on top?"

Omar replied, "Well I have a lot of motivations, but my biggest motivation would have to be my mom, and also just wanting to be the best in what I do."

During halftime at the Arkansas Razorbacks Men's Basketball Game, the Razorback Volleyball Team was honored for all of their accomplishments from this past season! I had the chance to interview my sis Summer Morgan. I asked her "How does it feel to be honored for the hardwork they have put in from during the season and as well as off season! Summer said,

"It feels great to see results after working hard & to see that all of those hours spent working in the gym have payed off. It's a blessing. Not only does it feel great, but it helps us realize our potential & see how much further we can go.

There were definitely many struggles,like with every team, but we couldn't let that kind of stuff keep us from reaching our goal. If there was a problem then we addressed it a progressed from it."

Congratulations Volleyball team on the accomplishments mane! Y'all deserve it. Thank y'all for just supporting me as well. Y'all didn't have to but y'all did. That's nothin but love. I really appreciate it. Y'all deserve all of the recognition! Ima fan 😊

I am from North Little Rock, AR and graduated from Episcopal Collegiate School, but around the metro area of Little Rock, I have a lot of friends and people that I am cool with. One of those guys is Peyton White! My homie Peyton White goes to Little Rock Christian Academy and with their recent success, they are moving to the State Tournament as well! I asked my homie Peyton, "How determined are y'all to make it to the big game?! I wanna know how motivated are y'all to win State!" Peyton quickly replied and said, "How determined are we? Oh it goes all the way back to the second week of school when we started morning practice. We posted goals in our locker room. And each and every day we worked our butts off to accomplish that goal every day. We practice everyday in the morning and after school. We had to make the tournament first. And in our conference can play with anybody in the state. In the state tournament from our conference it's Jacksonville, PA, McClellan and then us. Those 3 teams right there just tell you how hard our conference is. And our conference is the best in 5A, so the other teams in state aren't anywhere near the teams in our conference. So even though were the 4th seed, nobody can stand in our way. We are the most determined team in state and took the number 1 team in 5A to the wire. Were ready" Shouts out to them Little Rock Christian boys! Good luck in State!

Soooooo if you didn't know, I'm from North Little Rock, AR. That's my hometown baby! So you already know I had to check up on the Girls Basketball Team! I had the honor of interviewing the One and Only.... Ms. Dajha Hardamon! Ya know.... The coolest girl ever mane! I said Dajha... "How determined are y'all to win state mane? How bad do y'all really want it?" Dajha told me, "Very determined! We go in practice everyday working hard for the next opponent!! Making each other better!! Every one is so focused and we all have our minds set one thing and that's to WIN!! No exception we go out and play every game like it's our LAST and give it our all!" 

I noticed that the Pulaski Academy Girls Basketball team worked hard enough to become the #1 seed for the up and coming State Tournament! I wanted to interview Alex Otwell about their recent success, how did they overcome all of the adversity and how much handwork did it take to get to the position they are in! Alex said, "Oh we're very determined this year. At the beginning of the season, we weren't really sure how the season would end up for us. But as we kept getting better in the gym everyday and got a few games in, we realized that we could really make a statement if we put our hearts in it. And it's been easy to put in so much time because of how much we love each other. I've never had a team that I've felt closer to than my team this year. We're like a family and I think that plays a big part in how successful teams end up. The only adversity we've really come across is just losing games that we shouldn't have. But that happens to every team, if it were possible to have a perfect season then basketball wouldn't be as fun of a game as it is. WE just bounced back and fixed what we needed to!" I thought this was amazing and true! I agree totally with Alex! Congratulations to the Pulaski Academy Girls Basketball Team and good luck during the State Tournament! This is an amazing accomplishment! Y'all should be proud and continue building each other up.

Shouts out to the Episcopal boys for winning and moving on to the Championship game for Regionals! These boys have been working hard and have battled adversity. I asked William Pollock, "How determined are you to win another Regional", he simply said, "It feels good to get rewarded for our hardwork all season. I am as determined as a senior playing his last season can be." Hardwork pays off and "all things are possible, if you believe." These boys were the first ones to know about the movement and I should say they know how to believe. The grind never stops and I know they have one goal on their minds this year. They got to the big game last year and came up short but we know it's going to take hardwork and dedication to make it to that final game again. Shouts out to my boys mane. Beezy loves and misses yall.

God has a way of doing amazing things through ordinary people! Fredi Knighten, the Quarterback for the Arkansas State Red Wolves, was one of the first ones to support me with this Movement and inspiring others to believe. He even has the first band that I had that came out. Before the game, he posted a pic of his wrist with the bracelet "Faith" and "All things are possible, if you believe" Mark 9:23. Fredi has never been the type of person that wants to show off his talent. He just plays the game of football because he loves it and he enjoys being in the midst of other players. He is the type of person that when he has success, he knows exactly where his help came from. He knows our Lord and Savior was the one that has guided him through his success as a football player. As I was watching the Arkansas State Red Wolves play Ball State in the GoDaddy.com Bowl, I saw a miraculous play. The game was back and forth the whole game. But there was one drive that stuck out! With only 32 seconds left to play, Fredi Knighten through the game winning ball into the end zone and won it for the Red Wolves! Not only did Fredi make this amazing play, but he was named MVP. He needs to be recognized for this amazing achievement!

Recently Dayshawn Watkins was listed as the #18 Top 100 Junior College (JuCO) Players in the Nation! He currently goes to Holmes Community College in Goodman, Mississippi. Next year Dayshawn will be taking his talents to Tallahassee, Florida. All of Dayshawn's hard work has paid off! The reason I say that is because he has been given the chance and opportunity to go play for Coach Leonard Hamilton and the Florida State Seminoles! I have known this man all my life and he is a walking testimony. Even though we might not understand why we are in the position that we are in today, if you put your trust in God, have faith and believe in yourself, God will ultimately lead you to the right path. Dayshawn was one of the first ones to support me with this movement and ever since Day One, he has believed in the band. I remember multiple times Dayshawn called me and did not understand why he was having to go through so many difficult times and I told him to keep believing and never give up. The trials and tribulations that exist in your life are only tests to see how you handle them! In only a matter of months, Dayshawn will display his talents on the basketball court for the Seminoles and will continue to lift God and his teammates up just because of the type of person he is. Achievements like this need to be recognized and shared with others.
