What God has promised you, you will see.
It does not matter how long you have had the problem, it can only take God one moment to fix it. "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." (Philippians 4:13) The Word of God is something we should hide in our hearts. Sometimes we struggle because we know God can but we don't know if He can do it for us. Fear attempts to shake our faith and steer us toward faithless, but His promise should steer us being towards faithfulness. When you are attempted to lose hope, remember God is an ever-present help. When you are dealing with a situation, it's not about the question "Why am I going through what I am going through?" but the question, "What do you want me to learn from this situation?" It is important to not only ask God this simple question but also have the right people around you during the difficult situation. "A friend loves at all times, And a brother is born for adversity." (Proverbs 17:17) In the midst of your infirmaries, make your mind up to become more intimate with God. During your darkest moments, we should allow God to minister to our greatest needs. When you seek first the Kingdom of God, you will be complete in Him. "For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power." (Colossians 2:9-10) Your hope should be like an anchor. An anchor is a heavy device that is attached to a boat or ship by a rope or chain and that is thrown into the water to hold the boat or ship in place. Even when the waters become strong and scarce, the anchor keeps the foundation strong for the boat until the waters become calm again. "We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain." (Hebrews 6:19) All things work better for the good. Don't look for man to do what only God can do. |
