Lost And Found

Dear Beezy Brand Believer! 

Here are some key points I learned from Church that I believe can help you in your life: 

“If a man has a hundred sheep and one of them gets lost, 
what will he do? 
Won’t he leave the ninety-nine others in the wilderness and go to search for the one that is lost until he finds it? 
And when he has found it, he will joyfully carry it home on his shoulders. 
When he arrives, he will call together his friends and neighbors, saying,

‘Rejoice with me because I have found my lost sheep.’ 
In the same way, 
there is more joy in heaven over one lost sinner who repents and returns to God than over ninety-nine others who are righteous and haven’t strayed away!”

KEY POINT: God will find you where you are 

• The one sheep was worth finding 

• Jesus values the one that is lost 

• Jesus will pick the one up that has just been wandering and doesn’t know where it’s going to take it back to a safe place that God knows 

• This story is your story and my story 

• Jesus isn’t only talking about a sheep, He is also talking about you and me 

• “Draw near to God and God will draw near to you” - James 4:8

• Friends and neighbors celebrate to see the lost one comes back (like a baptism)

• Jesus left Heaven to find you and me
