16 Then God made two great lights: the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night. He made the stars also. 17 God set them in the firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth, Genesis 1:16-17 In the Creation of the earth, God wanted light on earth to rule the day and less light to rule the night. Not only did he create this light but the stars as well. I looked up the definition of light and it says, "something that makes vision possible." So when you put that together in these terms, it reads, "Then God made two great visions: the greater vision to rule the day and the lesser vision to rule the night. He made the stars also. God set them in the firmament (sky) of the heavens to give vision on the earth." This verse is so powerful to me. When there is light, there is hope. What a world be without light? How could we even function without it? If we could lemme know lol. But God wants us to realize His love shines on us in each and everyday. Even when it's storming, what's behind the clouds? Light from the sun. What is the sun? The sun is considered a star, which is something that God has made. It's in his word. When it's storming in our lives, just know it doesn't storm forever. After a bad storm, what happens next? The a beautiful rainbow and light from the sun comes and brightens up the earth. The same light God uses to light up the earth, is the same light God uses to light up within us. When your light isn't shining, weather the storm because what happens after a storm? The light comes shining through.
