28 Then God blessed them and said, "Be fruitful and multiply. Fill the earth and govern it. Reign over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, and all the animals that scurry along the ground." Genesis 1:28 God simply asks us to be fruitful to others and multiply. When He says multiply, He doesn't necessarily mean multiply by the number of people, but the number of followers of Christ. He wants us to multiply the fruitfulness of others as well. He continues saying that we will fill the earth and govern the earth. Mankind will reign over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky and all the animals that scurry along the ground. It's in His word that we must govern the earth. Not only do we need to govern the earth but we need to govern each other. We need to learn how to build others up and create other disciples. Being fruitful to others is not hard. The definition of fruitful is abundantly producing something. If a fruit tree produces an abundance of fruit, then it is considered fruitful. When God asks His people, us, to become fruitful, we must be abundant and produce something great out of ourselves. We must learn to be fruitful and be good citizens. Let's make an effort of becoming fruitful individual's and making a difference on this earth.
